Beta - A Combat Survivor focused on offense, Beta wields two swords and his skills trigger extra damage and accelerated attacks. Glenn - A Combat Survivor focused on defense, the always level-headed Glenn wields a pistol and his skill increases defense. Series favorites include: Rick - A Combat Survivor focused on fighting off walkers, everyone’s favorite cop wields his trusty rifle, an axe and his skills increase damage. In The Walking Dead: Survivors, each character has attributes reflective of their comic book counterpart, and a skill set defined by “Combat” and “Development.” Combat Survivors are responsible for battlin’, while Development Survivors focus on improving all defensive aspects of a walker-free zone. Players have a lot to consider including what types of buildings they construct, how they shore up their perimeter from endless waves of walkers, and who they promote in battle.
The goal of this game is to build and fortify towns and armies through assigning tasks, implement strategic battle plans, and construct and expand bases by exploring new and familiar territory. The show keeps having to invent “super clusters” of slow zombies because the individual ones are just not that effective, but a fast zombie plague? That is going to transform the universe from top to bottom. I am personally very excited by this, because I don’t think zombies have been a forceful enough threat in the series for ages.
I doubt they’d appear in time for the Walking Dead season 11 series finale. Or the fast zombies will find their way across the ocean and start spreading that mutation in the US, and therefore could show up in Fear the Walking Dead, the Daryl and Carol spin-off, Tales of the Walking Dead or whatever other shows AMC has planned.Either a future Walking Dead spin-off that hasn’t been announced will be set in Europe with these fast zombies.
